Tantric Lovemaking as Healing: Staying Present with What Arises
One of the most powerful aspects of Tantric intimacy is this:
Sex becomes a healing field, not a performance.
When the genitals relax and the nervous system opens, layers of old emotion stored in the tissues begin to rise: shame, fear, abandonment, sexual interference, early confusion, and unmet tenderness.
This is not dysfunction.
This is the body remembering itself.
Tears during lovemaking are sacred.
They increase sensitivity.
They awaken presence.
They soften the ego.
For a man, tears make his penis more conscious and responsive.
For a woman, tears open the deeper intelligence of her vagina.
This is why a core Tantric teaching is:
- Do not collapse.
- Do not explain.
- Do not analyze.
- Stay present.
If emotion overwhelms you, speak the truth without blame:
“I’m emotional right now. I feel separate.”
This honesty keeps the field open.
If needed, you can step away afterward — not to punish the connection, but to integrate the rising memory.
Because eventually, with enough repetition, you discover:
The lover in front of you is not the source of your pain.
He is simply the activator — the one touching the place in you that is ready to be freed.
When this layer dissolves, your sexuality becomes lighter, fuller, more conscious, and far more intimate.
Tantric sex becomes not just pleasure… but evolution.

I’ve been wanting to tell you how blown away I am about the work we did. Wowzers. It was more than I expected in a very good way. It’s helping Nina out a bunch too. We started Crack the Code class and it’s awesome. It’s refreshing to understand each other without blaming for behaviors. We literally never learned the better way and we don’t know how to. Its reassuring for each of us to admit this, drop the pride, seek good guidance and adopt better ways of being. I feel like you led us to the trailhead I’ve been looking for for decades. Thank you. -Adin
